JOIN US... BE A VOLUNTEER!
RSVP depends on individuals like you to give of themselves to help others within their communities. This gift of time and commitment is priceless.
You'll hear it in the voice of the child you guided who finally has reason to smile. You'll see it in the eyes of the person you comforted.
You'll feel it in the warm "thank you, we couldn't have done it without you." You have crossed the bridge between those who need and those who give.
Presently RSVP links volunteers with 250 nonprofit and community organizations. What do RSVP volunteers do? They serve as museum tour guides, mentor youth, walk dogs waiting for adoption, prepare and deliver meals, support law enforcement and performing arts organizations, and much more.
You've learned a lot in 55+ years... don't keep it to yourself! Spend part of your leisure time doing what you do best and see how you can bring out the best in someone else.
Linking volunteers 55 or older with essential community needs throughout central Oklahoma

As they say, membership has its privileges! As an RSVP volunteer you'll receive:
- Free supplemental accident and liability insurance coverage while on a RSVP assignment.
- Improved physical and emotional health: Studies reveal that people who volunteer are less likely to become ill and more likely to maintain a more positive outlook on life, due to a heightened sense of productivity, value and self-worth.
- The opportunity to have fun, meet people and make friends...all while making a difference in the lives of others.
- Share your expertise of a lifetime or do something you always wanted to do, but never had time.
- Membership in a national volunteer program: Your activities are included in statistical reports distributed throughout the nation.
- Invitations to social events, including an annual banquet and holiday celebrations.
- Subscription to our newsletter, "The Response"
Please tell your friends and family members about RSVP and encourage them to call for more information about senior volunteer opportunities, or if they know of someone who might benefit from one of the services we offer in the community. We are also happy to address your civic, church or community group to tell them all about RSVP. Just contact us about scheduling a presentation!
